QUALITY INJURY REPRESENTATION

We negotiate out-of-court cases - and win!

After almost a year of litigating a familial sexual abuse case, we were able to force the accused abuser’s homeowners insurance company, as well as the accused abuser personally, to pay over $600,000.00 to resolve the case.  This kept our client/victim from going through the rigors of a difficult trial and testifying about the abuse in public.

In early 2007, Mrs. P., a lovely 84-year-old retiree, was leaving Davidson’s Drug Store in Sarasota, Florida, when a young woman talking on her cell phone ran over her with her car.  She suffered a severely fractured right ankle.  After approximately four months of convalescing, we were able to negotiate a settlement of her claim in the amount of $250,000.00 without ever filing a lawsuit!  Once again, this helped our elderly client avoid the rigors of going to court.

Aggressive pre-suit investigation and comprehensive settlement techniques can often result in prompt settlements. This means lower attorneys' fees and costs to our clients. More of the settlement goes to the victim, where it belongs!

A 72-year "young" client of ours was able to recover $205,000 in settlement without the necessity of even filling a lawsuit. Mrs. S slipped and fell, severely injuring her femur when a refrigerator repairman allowed water to puddle on the floor following a service call at her residence.

We were also able to secure a $265,000 settlement for Mrs. W without filing a lawsuit after she was knocked down by a motorist backing out of a driveway. She suffered a broken arm which required hemiarthroplasty of the shoulder joint.
